The VocinVolo Choir was born in 2006 within the Ritmea music school in Udine. Made up of about fifty members, whose ages range from 8 to 20, it has been directed since its foundation by Prof. Lucia Follador. The VocinVolo choir is currently part of the excellence of the children's and youth choirs of Friuli Venezia Giulia. In 2013 he won the absolute First Prize, as well as the Prize for Best Interpretation, at the 1st Festival of the voices of Friuli (Fruts Furlans), at the Teatro Giovanni da Udine and in May 2016 he was awarded the Prize for best choir, at the 4th International Competition City of Palmanova.

He has been repeatedly invited to radio and television broadcasts:

(Tg3fvg, Rainews, RaiRadio1, Skytg24, Rds, Radio101). Over the years, many artists on the national and international scene have had the opportunity to collaborate with the choir, both in live performances and as guests in record works: Paolo Fresu, Daniele Di Bonaventura, Silvia Mezzanotte, Giò Di Tonno and Matteo Setti ( main stars of the Musical "Notre Dame De Paris") Valter Sivilotti, Roberto Manzin (saxophonist by Mario Biondi, Zucchero, James Brown etc.), Annamaria Dell'Oste, Orchestra dell'Accademia Naonis, Gorni Kramer Quartet, Milk and Coffee, Piero Sidoti , Marco Caronna. Very active and sensitive to social issues, the Udine team has been invited several times as a guest in various charity events, such as: Telethon, Solidalinote, A smile for Mattia, Voices without Frontiers (a solidarity project between Ireland and the Friuli). Important national composers such as Orlando Di Piazza, Valter Sivilotti, Stefano Procaccioli, Virginio Zoccatelli etc. have written and arranged for the Friulian choir. Il Vocinvolo has held numerous concerts in all the major theaters of Friuli Venezia Giulia: Giovanni da Udine and Palamostre Theater (Udine), Tripcovich and Politeama Rossetti Hall (Trieste), Verdi Theater (Pordenone), Zancanaro Theater (Sacile), Ristori Theater (Cividale), Miotto Theater (Spilimbergo), Friulian Culture Auditorium (Gorizia), Palacongressi (Grado), as well as Assisi (Basilica of San Francesco), Vienna (Grand Hall of the Town Hall and Minoriten Kirke), Klagenfurt (Cathedral of SS. Peter e Paolo), Rome (Basilica of S. Maria del Popolo and Sala Nervi, in the presence of Pope Francis).

The Vocinvolo choir is produced by Stefano Amerio's Artesuono record label, with which he recorded his two official records: "Merry Christmas" (2015) and "A Christmas With Friends" (2018), meeting a resounding success with the public and criticism. Lately the choir has become the protagonist of "Voices without Borders", a solidarity project from Ireland to Friuli, recording a cover of the last song by the U2 leader, Bono, "Let your love be known", written at the beginning of the lockdown as a tribute to the Italians affected by the pandemic. The song, which the boys recorded from their homes with mobile phones, was posted and commented directly by U2 on their official Facebook page.

A splendid gift, which the historic Irish Band wanted to give to the Vocinvolo, to pay homage to the boys for their interpretation of the song and for the noble purpose for which it is intended. In a few days, the video achieved more than 250 thousand views and the event appeared in the major national newspapers and in the specialized press (La Repubblica, Il Corriere della Sera, La Stampa, Il Fatto Quotidiano, Il Giornale di Sicilia, La Gazzetta del Sud, Huffingtonpost, SkyTg24, Twnews, Rumors, Fanpage, Sentireascoltare, Playhitmusic, Gosgossy and many more).

The choir recently participated in the maxi event "This is Groove 2021" held in Grado and replicated at the Castle of Udine, alongside the 6-string star Andrea Braido (formerly with Vasco Rossi, Zucchero, Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti and Mina) .

He also had the honor of being invited to the inaugural ceremony of the 30th edition of the Mittelfest in Cividale, where, alongside the Gorni Kramer Quartet, he performed in the presence of the highest regional authorities, as well as at the top management of the Festival and the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor.

last October he participated in the GO! 2025 in Gorizia and Nova Gorica Capitals of culture 2025, in the presence of the Presidents Sergio Mattarella and Borut Pahor.

The singers of the VocinVolo are constantly followed by a real team of professionals, composed, as well as by its Artistic and Musical Director Lucia Follador, by the Composer and Pianist Alessio Domini and by the Assistant Valeria D'Angelo, by a Vocal Coach, a Otolaryngologist and a Speech therapist, who treat the voice in all respects

The new singers are evaluated in an initial audition to know their vocal characteristics.
